| Dominique Coutelle's résuméA graduate from the prestigious French art school: "Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts de Paris", D. Coutelle specialized in plastic arts and more precisely the art of sculpting. While maintaining his own personal artistic career through group and individual shows such as the "Salon de l'Art Libre" in 1979 and artistic awards such as the Silver medal of the Arts (1980), D. Coutelle focused during the 70's and 80's most of his artistic inspiration and creativity toward unique stage decors for the Theatre, Opera, and Movie industry. In 1990, D. Coutelle take in charge and prioritize his own artistic path through group shows and symposiums while keeping some of his stage responsibilities. His efforts resulted in receiving the "Grand prix de la societe d'encouragement aux metiers d'art" in 1995. He participated subsequently in the Festival of Contemporary Art of Rabastens in 1997 and was Guest of Honor to "Mains de la creation" (hands of creativity) with a public sculpture named "le soir du vent fou". Additional individual shows resulted: Maison Mansart, Paris (1998 & 1999); Museum Robert Tatin (1998); Salon des realites nouvelles (1999 & 2000); Galerie municipale de Vitry sur Seine (1999); Hotel Galerie de l'Atelier, Villeneuve-lez-Avignon (2001) ... In addition to private collections, D. Coutelle's monumental sculptures can be found at the gardens of the Museum Municipal Robert Tatin de Cosse-le-Vivien (Mayenne, France) and at Saint-Sauveur-sur-ecole (Seine et Marne, France).
