P. Heude's résuméFine Art Artist specializing in Drawings & Nudes, presently living in Marseille, Provence, France, but lived in Africa (Senegal) and traveled in Mediterranean countries. A graduate from the "Ecole des Beaux Arts" (Fine Arts School) in Marseille, France, Philippe Heude excels in all forms of arts: fine arts: paintings, drawings, and illustrations; but also poetry (under the name of Alexandre Iskra, selected to represent Marseille in the "Biennale des Jeunes Createurs de l'Europe Mediteraneenne") and French Cuisine. Among P. Heude's inspiration, his professors: Georges Briata, Claude Viallat, and Joel Carmarrec, take a dominant place. But also ancient and new masters have influenced him: Degas, Delacroix, Edward Hopper, and Eric Fischl, to name a few. From 1981 to 1989, P. Heude was a member of the group of artists named "Print Art", which included 30 French artists including Gary Panters and additional members in the US such as David Spiegelman. The main function of this artistic group was to help artists specialized in graphics. Among some of the illustration work carried out by P. Heude, the revue "Neal Cassidy" & the literary revue Oviri. In addition to various individuals' private collections, P. Heude's work is periodically exhibited in Provence's Local art shows ("Nouvelles Expositions", organized by the city of Marseille) as well as individual and group shows in galleries such as: the Gallery Psyché and Galery Dinosart. In addition to his art, P. Heude has a passion for collecting shells and souvenirs from sailors from all over the world. |
