So I realized that they were five parts in my cancer treatment: 2 chemo treatments (DAC - 8 weeks and THP - 12 weeks), surgery 1 (mastectomy & lympha), radiation and surgery 2 (2nd mastectomy & reconstructive surgery). This overall may take 1 to 1 1/2 year long if all goes well at every step. So what am I celebrating?
Well part 1 of chemo is successfully completed!!! The tumor has indeed got reduced in size through the DAC chemo treatment!!! Yeah!! 4 more parts to go!!!
LASTLY BUT NOT LEAST
All my family, friends, boyfriend, colleagues, neighbors, and even my work and hospital have been very supportive. I am feeling appreciated and loved. I feel very lucky and blessed to have such people around me.
